Life-long interests in medical science
►What is the “Big Picture” of what you study?
I am studying human pancreatic islet function in health and diabetes
►What is your favorite aspect of your research?
I am specially interested in islet-cell phenotyping by combined electrical activities of single cells and single-cell gene sequencing
► What do you hope to achieve with your research?
Provide valuable information for understanding islet function and the molecular mechanisms underlying dysfunction
in diabetes
