The Trans-Network Committee (TNC) consists of members of each scientific consortium, the Enhancement Center (HIREC) and NIDDK Program Staff. The committee will:
- facilitate communication and foster collaboration across the different consortia
- advise during development of the agenda for the yearly HIRN Annual Meeting
- discuss implementation of HIRN “opportunity pool” funds
- facilitated the collaborative curation of a HIRN Review Series for Molecular Metabolism
