Because of my fascination to understand how the human body works

To protect and recover endogenous control of glucose homeostasis by islet cells as prevention and therapy of diabetes
►What is your favorite aspect of your research?
The interaction, exchange and collaboration with researchers around the world
► What do you hope to achieve with your research?
To contribute to the understanding of diabetes and the development of therapies
